Dave Edwards (he,him)

Dave Edwards has served as special education teacher in Chicago Public Schools, and a teacher and administrator in several Twin Cities public school districts. Currently, he works as the lead instructor in the residency-based Emotional Behavioral Disorders licensure program at the UMN. He is licensed in Illinois as an Learning Behavior Specialist and holds special education licenses in the areas of Developmental Disabilties, Learning Disabilities and Emotional Behavior Disorders in the state of Minnesota. Dave is also a 3rd year PhD student, funded by an Office of Special Education Programs Leadership Training grant.

Dave is an active board member of the Minnesota Transgender Health Coalition, and Transforming Families MN - a peer-led community organization supporting families with gender diverse youth.
