Why Gender Inclusive Schools?

On May 13th, 2016, the U.S. department of Education and the Department of Justice directed all public schools to fully include transgender and gender non-conforming students by protecting their human rights.  This directive enumerates the right of students to use facilities consistent with their gender identity and requires school staff to honor their pronouns and preferred names.  To prevent and correct discrimination based on students' gender identity and expression, all public schools should proactively develop gender inclusive policies and practices.  Take action now so that your school, school district or state board of education is not responsible for gender based discrimination!

Who these policies protect:

Moms are calling on all who dare to use the transgender community for dishonest and divisive politics: Meet my child. Politicians in 20 states have attempted to advance over 50 pieces of legislation attacking transgender people. These policies are a real danger to transgender people and hurt the most vulnerable, including America's transgender children.
